3D printed resin models of air filter for NMJ Y1 railcar. Air filter in two parts, thus the body can be removed from chassies also after mounting of air filter, production methoi will generate some burr on the lower side of upper part and upper side of lower part, wet sand befor painting. 

The model is based on measurements from MBJ Y1 no 1359.Model is adjusted for the somewhat misplaced original air filter on NMJ's model

Painting suggestion: Orange upper part with black lower part. The fine detail of the model requires thin coats, we recommend airbrushing, but brush painting with thinned paint can be done. We recommend a primer before final painting, our favourite is Tamiya rattle can primer, but you might have your own favourite. Degreasing is recommended before paining, lukewarm water with a few drops of dishwasher liquid will do the job. Let the washed parts dry thoroughly before painting. Burr and flash from the production process may occur and can easily be removed with a scalpel or det sanding.
