3D printed resin models of air filter for NMJ blue Y1 railcar. To mount te filter, remove the original filter by puulling it out straight. , the filter is mounted with two pins. The new air filter is glued in place to fit the upper part on the railcar body, our model has a bevled corner to give space for the boggie. Check that the bogie can turn freely befor gluing filter in place

Painting suggestion: Dark grey  The fine detail of the model requires thin coats, we recommend airbrushing, but brush painting with thinned paint can be done. We recommend a primer before final painting, our favourite is Tamiya rattle can primer, but you might have your own favourite. Degreasing is recommended before paining, lukewarm water with a few drops of dishwasher liquid will do the job. Let the washed parts dry thoroughly before painting. Burr and flash from the production process may occur and can easily be removed with a scalpel or det sanding.
