Farm tanks

3D-printed FDM models of farm tanks , one kit kontain 1 pcs each of  1,2 m3, 1,8m3 och 3 m3. Each tank consists of four parts, one tank, one manhole and two supports. Glue together with CA-glue. Farm tanks are found everywere, at farms, building sites, industries but also at the smaller stations were it was used for refilling the railcar. The prototypes were documented at Frövi industrial railway muséum were some was found out on a grassy field and some on chassis to create simple tank wagons. If you like one can add tubes and hoses, use inspiration from the photos ore use your imagination, farm tanks varies.

Painting suggestion: Zink or aluminium. The fine detail of the model requires thin coats, we recommend airbrushing, but brush painting with thinned paint can be done. We recommend a primer before final painting, our favourite is Tamiya rattle can primer, but you might have your own favourite. Degreasing is recommended before paining, lukewarm water with a few drops of dishwasher liquid will do the job. Let the washed parts dry thoroughly before painting. Burr and flash from the production process may occur and can easily be removed with a scalpel or det sanding.
