Phone patch box with street cover plate

3D-printed resin model of phone patch box in painted sheet metal. Prototype dimensions 810x370x1790 mm. Frequently those boxes have a cast iron cover plate in the street in front of the box

Painting suggestion: Light grey, cover plate dark rust colour. The fine detail of the model requires thin coats, we recommend airbrushing, but brush painting with thinned paint can be done. We recommend a primer before final painting, our favourite is Tamiya rattle can primer, but you might have your own favourite. Decreasing is recommended before paining, lukewarm water with a few drops of dishwasher liquid will do the job. Let the washed parts dry thoroughly before painting. Burr and flash from the production process may occur and can easily be removed with a scalpel or det sanding.
