Alarm boxes in three different models, fire alarm box from the beginning of the 20:th century and an alarm phone box from the 1950-ies. Before the phone was available in every house, alarm boxes were found in the cities and villages and used for alarming the fire brigade. The boxes are preserved at the community centre Fontänen in Linköping, a former fire stations. Prototype dimensions 270x170x400, dia 300x170 and 288x165x521 mm
Painting suggestion: Bright red. The fine detail of the model requires thin coats, we recommend airbrushing, but brush painting with thinned paint can be done. We recommend a primer before final painting, our favourite is Tamiya rattle can primer, but you might have your own favourite. Decreasing is recommended before paining, lukewarm water with a few drops of dishwasher liquid will do the job. Let the washed parts dry thoroughly before painting. Burr and flash from the production process may occur and can easily be removed with a scalpel or det sanding.
